National Have Fun at Work Day! While our staff always has fun at work, today was filled with two extra splashes of fun for middle and high school staff. ~ Fox In A Pocket ~ A total of 8 fox heads were laminated and given to staff (3 middle school, 5 high school). Those staff members placed them in their pocket. Throughout the day, staff will be asking other staff if they have a fox in their pocket; if they do, it must be handed over. Any staff with a fox in their pocket at the end of the day can exchange it for a prize. ~ Find A Fox ~ There are mini fox figurines hidden throughout the building (12 for middle school, 20 for high school). When a figurine is found, staff can exchange it for a prize. Special thanks goes to the organizers of this fun activity! This is one of many strategies that support a positive culture. #Fox Pride

Congratulations to the sophomore class Top Readers (Lucy, Mackenzie, Dina, Bella, Sawyer, and Skyler). These sophomores read the most books quarter two. Each day in Mrs. Miller's English 10 classes, students begin the class by reading from books they have chosen. Also, any spare time students are not working on classwork, they are able to read.

Music classes from elementary school to high school don’t just create musicians—they develop well-rounded individuals ready for the future! We see the arts as so much more than just classes—they’re a chance for kids to take a break from the standard academics, grow, and explore passions they didn’t even know they had. 🎼✨ 🎤 How Music Transforms Students: ~ Boosts Academic Performance: Students in music programs often excel in math, reading, and problem-solving. ~ Builds Confidence: Performing on stage or in a group helps students conquer fear and embrace leadership. ~ Encourages Discipline: Practice and dedication in music translate into success in every aspect of life. Our music department truly sets our kids up with endless opportunities. Whether it’s becoming a music teacher, performer, sound designer, audio technician, or even a film score composer, music education opens doors to creative and fulfilling careers!
