School Picture Day for H.B. Patch and OES is Thursday, September 14th
All students will have their picture taken, regardless if parents purchase a picture package. Pictures are used for our yearbook.
Parents can order pictures online or send a printed order form and payment with their child to be given to the photographer on picture day. Picture orders must be placed between July 1st - Sept 12th to get free shipping to school.

Omro School's are back in session!
Please remember to slow down and watch for students walking and biking to school. Many students cross main street and other busy streets to get to school. If you see a student waiting to cross the street at a crosswalk, STOP. Not only is it Wisconsin law, it's the right thing to do to keep our students safe.
Stop for school busses. Slow down if you see the yellow flashing lights and stop if you see the red flashing lights and stop sign out.
Stay off your phone while driving. Taking your eyes off the road for even a moment can be dangerous.

Parents and students are welcome to come and drop off their school supplies on Wednesday, August 30th from 4-6 pm for the District Wide Open House. Remember to access your child's schedule with teacher and room number information and their locker ahead of time.
The online registration window closes tomorrow, August 31st - make sure to complete your registration. Your child MUST be registered prior to the first day of school.

China Bull Football Game is TONIGHT at Winneconne High School!

Paying at the gate? Bring the exact amount to get through more quickly and help the ticket takers.

All Middle School and Elementary School children should come with a parent/guardian. Do not drop off unaccompanied middle and elementary school students. Winneconne High School asks that parents/guardians keep your elementary-aged children with you and all middle/high school students should be in the stands. Thank you for your help.
Other Information:
Just as in any other sporting event, please remember that items may not be thrown or sprayed, etc. Parents, please remind your child(ren) as well that silly string, baby powder, water guns, shaving cream, and other materials like that are not allowed at the game.
Winneconne does not permit balls, frisbees, or any other sports equipment into the football complex/on school grounds during their sporting events.
No one is allowed under the Winneconne bleachers. If you drop something, please see a game staff worker for assistance.
Omro Band and Choir are having their annual mattress sale on Saturday, September 9.

District-Wide Open House

The staff and students of Omro Middle School invite all 6th graders to our 7th annual 6th Grade Orientation Day! Please arrive 5 minutes early (we start promptly at 1:00 pm) and wear comfortable clothes!

Our orientation program at OMS joins together small teams of 6th graders with trained 8th-grade leaders and mentors to help make 6th graders’ transition to middle school more positive, welcoming, and enjoyable!
Freshmen Orientation
The purpose of this orientation is to help build a strong connection between the Freshmen, the Upperclassmen, and the school community as a whole. This experience will help your child make a smooth transition into Omro High School and is put on by our Sources of Strength team. This event is for our students; parents may join their students after the event for our open house which follows at 4 pm.
