Students in Miss Kelly's 4k class have filled up our 2nd Fox Paw Chart, which means that collectively, they have earned 100 Fox Paws. To celebrate, they decided to have a Shaving Cream Party! Mr W & Mrs. Bernier even stopped in to join the fun during our morning class!

This year’s Grade 6 students went on a two day field trip to Camp Lucerne last week. While at camp, students enjoyed a multitude of activities including Tent Building, Archery, Nature Walks, Canoeing, Drum Circles, Art, Hocker (combination of Hockey and Soccer), and a Low Ropes Course. This field trip is one that our students look forward to each year, as well as look back on fondly, with previous students expressing, “one of my favorite field trips ever!” and “I wish I could go back and be in sixth grade again, just so I can go to Camp Lucerne again.”
A special thanks to our staff and volunteers who have an integral role in planning and supporting this positive experience for our students.

Great job, grade 6 mathematicians, on persevering through this challenge!

During the ELA block, students have been exploring the current CKLA Unit: Personal Narratives! One of the many skills that has been a focus is learning how to include dialogue, while using correct punctuation, in writing to make it more detailed.
This week, students worked in groups to write a conversation between two characters while following the 5 rules of dialogue! They were so creative! :)

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, September 3, the Omro community was invited to attend a Ground Breaking Ceremony for the start of the referendum projects.
A huge THANK YOU to our school board, district leaders, community partners, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us . Additionally, a special thank you to Art Eichmann Photography for sharing images of this event.
Stay tuned as we turn this vision into reality — one shovel at a time!

As the school year kicks off, it’s a reminder for all of us to slow down and stay alert. Kids may be anxious, excited, and possibly distracted as they head to and from school – and their safety depends on us, the drivers who share the road with them. Let’s all do our part to keep them safe.

Welcome to the Fox Family, new friends! :)
