On 11/11, our 8th grade students attended the FutureYOU Career Expo at the Sunnyview Expo Center, hosted by the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. Nearly 800 eighth graders from across the area participated in the event. Students had the chance to explore careers across all 16 career clusters — from agriculture and business to law and public safety — with over 60 local businesses and organizations represented. The expo offered engaging displays and hands-on activities that allowed students to discover a variety of career paths and gain insight into future opportunities.
The 7th grade class and teachers recently enjoyed a fieldtrip to Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) and the Oshkosh Public Library. FVTC provided numerous learning opportunities regarding career exploration and post-secondary education. At the Oshkosh Public Library, students enjoyed a scavenger hunt exploring all 3 floors of the building. It was a great day!
There will be no school today (Wednesday, November 26) through Friday, November 28, 2025. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back to our buildings on Monday, December 1, 2025.
DPI REPORT CARD EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! We recently shared that on the recently released DPI report card, the School District of Omro achieved an overall accountability rating of Exceeds Expectations. The 2024-2025 report card marks the fifth consecutive year of achieving this distinction.

Thank you to everyone for supporting this year’s Scholastic Book Fair. The book fair was a success at Omro Elementary, Middle and High School. Money was raised during the book fair which allowed our school libraries to purchase new books for our students to enjoy!
