Students in Mrs. Morse's Culinary Arts class just recently ran a food truck service as their capstone project for the class. "The Cozy Cabin" was open for business on Tuesday, January 16, from 11:00-1:00 and served 40 customers. Their menu consisted of "The Cozy Cabin" Breakfast Sandwich, "Blanket" Breakfast Burrito, "Snowy Day" White Chicken Chili, "Snowshoe" Fruit Salad, and "Heartwarming" Turtle Brownies.

The 2024-2025 School Year Calendar is now available. Staff and families of school students had the opportunity to share which of four different calendars they preferred, with the one receiving the most votes as the calendar that is being implemented for the upcoming school year.

There is no school for students on Friday, January 19, 2024, due to the end of Quarter 2. Teachers have a workday. We look forward to welcoming students back to the building on Monday, January 22.

OHS Student of the Month for January is Marisa.
Throughout high school, Marisa has been a part of Volleyball, Soccer, Band, Key Club, National Honor Society, Battle of the Books, and Book Club. Additionally, she has volunteered with Shopping Day with Kids, Highway Cleanups, Red Cross Blood Drives, OoMPA Golf Outings, Concession Stands, Trick or Treating for Canned Goods, and OACC Breakfast with Santa.
Outside of school, Marisa enjoys reading, weight lifting, longboarding, and music.
After graduation, Marisa plans to attend UW La-Cross to major in Statistics with a concentration in Actuarial Science, with the goal of becoming an Actuary.
All School District of Omro Facilities are CLOSED. This went into effect at 10:00 am on January 12, 2024 and will continue throughout the day on January 13, 2024.
