OHS Student of the Month for September is Olivia.
Throughout high school, she has been part of the National Honors Society, KEY Club, Spanish Club, Sources of Strength, Varsity Dance Team and President of the Student Council.
Along with her academic and extracurricular activities, Olivia enjoys playing the guitar and ukulele. Other hobbies include hunting, designing t-shirts and logos, babysitting, baking, and spending time with her family.
After graduation Olivia plans on attending college where she will pursue a degree in the medical field.

Fall Sports Pictures for High School Athletes - Monday, September 25th
Mark your calendar for fall sports pictures on Monday, September 25th. All athletes should plan to have their picture taken so they can be part of the team picture. Watch for order forms to be sent home from coaches during practice. Athletes should bring their uniform and order form with payment (if ordering).

High School students in grades 9 - 12 interested in bowling. The Omro HS Bowling team sign-up is going on NOW in the HS office.
Boys and Girls teams, a minimum of 12 matches, and an opportunity for State competition!

Freshmen Orientation
The purpose of this orientation is to help build a strong connection between the Freshmen, the Upperclassmen, and the school community as a whole. This experience will help your child make a smooth transition into Omro High School and is put on by our Sources of Strength team. This event is for our students; parents may join their students after the event for our open house which follows at 4 pm.

The High School Sources of Strength student group recently volunteered their time to run the children's games at the Waukau Chicken BBQ on June 11. With the help of their Advisors, they were able to provide a day of fun-filled games for the young children. Thank you for all the generous prize donations from staff, parents, community, and special shout out to Big Joe's Bargains.







On one of the final days of school, high school biology students did some community service projects around the Bruce Fowler Memorial Arboretum. Keefer handily removed a tree with root rot. Ariana, Mae , and Holly trimmed branches on the trails. Students were happy to get outside and beautify the school grounds!


Attention students grades 6-12 interested in joining the OHS Equestrian Team for the 2023/2024 season. There will be an organizational meeting Friday, June 30th in room #1709 at the high school at 7:00 pm. Park in the high school parking lot.

The Assistant Child Care Teacher (ACCT) class recently awarded the students with all their certifications they earned this school year.
ACCT is a dual credit course with Fox Valley Technical College and also earns students their WI Department of Public Instruction certificate to become an Assistant Child Care Teacher. Throughout the year, this class also earned their Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) certificate, Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) certificate, WI Breastfeeding Initiative certificate, and got certified in CPR/AED. All of these certifications will be beneficial to them as they continue to pursue a career in Early Childhood.

High school students recently participated in "Drive Your Tractor to School Day."









Omro High School Sources of Strength hosted a "Student Appreciation" Fox Time event in which staff and students participated in a variety of healthy activities around the school grounds. Groups played games like soccer, kickball, and sharks and minnows. Others took relaxing walks on the fitness trail or read books outside. Some got playful with bubbles and did sidewalk art. It was a fun way to celebrate the year together.









Congratulations to this week's OMS and OHS Fox Friday winners! These students were nominated by staff members or other students for demonstrating the Fox Four - Safety, Responsibility, Respect, or Positivity. Staff members were nominated by students or other staff members for being a role model, an advocate for students, or having a positive connection with students.



On Monday, May 22, members of the high school Spanish Club went to the Latino Arts Community Center in Milwaukee to learn how to make authentic Tortillas and horchata. After eating eat too many freshly made quesadillas, they walked over to Botanas restaurant to enjoy some delicious food. They all came home very full and feliz.
