Students in Mrs. Mugerauer's 2nd grade art classes have been creating pointillism paintings in the style of the artist George Seurat. Students discussed the artist's paintings in their Witt and Wisdom reading series and then brought the knowledge to life in Art class!

Thank you to everyone for supporting this year’s Scholastic Book Fair. The book fair was a success at Omro Elementary, Middle and High School. Money was raised during the book fair which allowed our school libraries to purchase new books for our students to enjoy!

Last week, on Halloween morning in Ms. Downs' 5th grade class, students did a mini career lesson on Radiologists and Radiology Technicians!

Fifth graders worked together using background knowledge and context clues to complete a fill in the blank activity, watched a video about Radiology, listened to skeletal system songs, and built their own paper models! 💀

Join us for STEAM & Screams tomorrow (October 30, 2025) from 4:30-6:30 pm at Omro Middle School. In addition to exploring the STEAM stations, we invite you to purchase food from the onsite food truck. This evening is geared towards students in 4K through grade 8 and their families.

There is no school for students today, Friday, October 24 , 2025, due to the end of the quarter.

Unity Day

Schools across the District recognized Unity Day, a day to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to prevent bullying by wearing orange, today. Did you know that
-- 94.3% of our students feel safe at school
-- 96.6% of students say they know how to report bullying or other unsafe behaviors

Beyond wearing orange, Kevin Szawala, who speaks professionally as “Mr. Peace” came to OMS for an assembly presentation titled “Bullying: Look At The Heart First.”
-- Thank you to St. Mary’s of Omro for supporting the effort of bringing Mr. Peace to Omro.
