This conference gave them some great ideas to continue to build a culture where students thrive. Special thanks to students Parker, Brianna, Wesley, Kendall, Sophie, Bentley, Dylan, Tauren, Kay, and Kheri for being change makers and leaders for this event. STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Omro High School selects a senior student each month to be the Student of the Month. Seniors are selected for their academic successes, leadership abilities, citizenship, and extracurricular activities. The seniors who are selected for this honor are also invited to attend an American Legion meeting for recognition by the sponsoring organization and may go on the ballot to be a graduation speaker.

The September 2026 Student of the Month is Lucy.

Throughout high school, Lucy has been involved with Softball, Key Club, Class Officers, National Honor Society, and Sources of Strength. Lucy volunteers her time through participating in events hosted by school groups, including Shopping Day with Kids, Highway Clean-Up, Blood Drives, and Freshmen Orientation. Additionally, she volunteers her time at church.

Outside of school, Lucy enjoys arts and crafts, reading, cleaning/organizing, board games, and playing softball and pickleball. Her interests include spending time with her family, friends, leadership, faith.

After graduation, she plans on attending a four year university and can see herself pursuing leadership roles

OES students from grades 2-5 put their whole hearts and lots of creativity into this challenge! They decorated 63 book themed tissue boxes to donate to the library. THANK YOU!
OES staff voted for their favorites. It was a tough choice because they were all so amazing!

The Omro Equestrian Team is made up of 11 students from the middle/high school who recently competed in the District 4 WIHA competition at Sunny View Expo Center. It is a 2 day competition consisting of many different classes such as english versatility, in hand trail, ranch riding, Horsemanship, equitation over fences, pole bending and western showmanship just to name a few.

Points are earned over the 2 day competition for the team; this year the team earned 1239 points earning the title of District 4 Division A Grand Champions! The girls had an amazing year and the next team closest to them brought in 787 points. The girls will be heading to State October 30th-Nov.1st, 2026, to compete in a 3 day competition. Wish them luck!
