Omro Middle School students celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week from 2/23-2/27. One day Peer Leaders served everyone hot cocoa and uplifting messages on their cups during lunch. Students also participated in themed dress-up days, including PJ Day to highlight the importance of sleep, and wrapped up the week with Fit Friday activities during Fox Time to promote the connection between physical fitness and mental health. To top it off, students created Gratitude Grams for staff, learning that expressing thanks boosts everyone’s mood — including their own!

On Friday, February 13, Omro Middle School celebrated Friday the 13th by providing many students some treats for being "lucky." Every student received a ticket at the start of the day, and multiple times throughout the day, many ticket numbers were called down as lucky recipients. It was a great day to celebrate Friday the 13th!
