Students in Mrs. Morse's 7th Grade Family and Consumer Sciences class are talking about caring for Infants. They had the opportunity to take care of "Baby Macy" -- a baby simulator. They needed to figure out why she was crying and care for her accordingly.

Thriving Together Thursday
Our 8th grade Peer Leaders recently took part in the Student Leadership Academy, hosted by CESA 6’s CEO, Ted Neitzke. The day was all about helping students grow as leaders through fun activities, teamwork, and practical tips they can use every day. Students learned new skills, built confidence, and came away excited about ways they can make a positive difference at school.

Due to inclement weather, the School District of Omro is closed on December 10, 2025. All after school events are also canceled.

DPI REPORT CARD EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! We recently shared that on the recently released DPI report card, the School District of Omro achieved an overall accountability rating of Exceeds Expectations. The 2024-2025 report card marks the fifth consecutive year of achieving this distinction.

Grade 8 Career Expo Field Trip
On 11/11, our 8th grade students attended the FutureYOU Career Expo at the Sunnyview Expo Center, hosted by the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. Nearly 800 eighth graders from across the area participated in the event.
Students had the chance to explore careers across all 16 career clusters — from agriculture and business to law and public safety — with over 60 local businesses and organizations represented. The expo offered engaging displays and hands-on activities that allowed students to discover a variety of career paths and gain insight into future opportunities.

The 7th grade class and teachers recently enjoyed a fieldtrip to Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) and the Oshkosh Public Library. FVTC provided numerous learning opportunities regarding career exploration and post-secondary education. At the Oshkosh Public Library, students enjoyed a scavenger hunt exploring all 3 floors of the building. It was a great day!
