School District of Omro Invites Community to Ribbon-Cutting Celebration on September 16
OMRO, WI — The School District of Omro invites community members and families to a ribbon-cutting celebration on Wednesday, September 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the Omro Elementary Schoolwest parking lot.
The event marks the official unveiling of several major facility improvements across the District, including a new 4K addition at Omro Elementary School, new concessions stand area, new track and field event areas, classroom improvements, as well as newly enhanced secure entrances at Omro Middle and High School.
Following short remarks and the official ribbon-cutting, community members are invited to tour the new spaces and learn more about the School District of Omro’s expanded offerings. With the completion of the 4K addition, Omro Elementary School is excited to now provide full-day 4K programming and enhanced early learning opportunities to the district’s youngest learners.
"We are incredibly grateful for the community’s continued support of the School District of Omro," said Jay Jones, Superintendent. "These upgrades reflect our shared commitment to creating safe, inclusive learning environments. Expanding to full-day 4K gives our youngest students the strong foundational start they deserve, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone together with the community."
