Join us tonight, Tuesday, May 20, at 6:30 pm, for the Spring Choir Concert. This event will showcase the hard work of our choir students in grades 6-12. The event begins at 6:30 pm and will be in the OHS Performing Arts Center.
Omro High School selects a senior student each month to be the Student of the Month. Seniors are selected for their academic successes, leadership abilities, citizenship, and extracurricular activities. The seniors who are selected for this honor are also invited to attend an American Legion meeting for recognition by the sponsoring organization and may go on the ballot to be a graduation speaker.
The May Student of the Month is Holly.
Throughout high school, Holly has been involved in Basketball, Track and Field, Cross Country, National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council, Spanish Club, and Sources of Strength. She can also be found volunteering her time through participation in Red Cross Community Blood Drives, Highway Cleanups, Food Drives, Hygiene Drives, Shopping Day with Kids, H.B. Patch Field Day, Milis Strong Track meet, Form the Family Christmas Crusade, and Toy Drives.
Outside of school, Holly enjoys reading, watching her favorite movies, being outdoors, traveling, baking, playing sports, and being with family and friends.
After graduation, she plans to continue her education at UW Eau-Claire, majoring in Nursing.

Congratulations to OMS and OHS Fox Friday winners from March 7, 2025! These students were nominated by staff members or other students for demonstrating the Fox Four (Safety, Responsibility, Respect, or Positivity).
Staff members were nominated by students or other staff members for being a role model, an advocate for students, or having a positive connection with students.
On Friday, May 9, Key Club hosted their final blood drive of the school year.
We are excited that we met our goal of over 100 pints donated, which provides an opportunity to recognize a graduating senior with a scholarship.
Many thanks to the Red Cross for all their help and support! Additionally, thank you to all community and student donors for making this possible and helping save lives!

Students in Mrs. Morse's Advanced Culinary Arts class are in the middle of their Bake Shop Unit. To learn more about cakes and decorating, they participated in a Cupcake Wars Competition. Based upon each team's chosen theme, they baked and decorated 12 cupcakes to set on a self-created display. Each display was judged by OHS Staff. The team earning the honor of "Cupcake Wars Champions" were the team of Bella, Maya, and Shayli who created "Surfside Sweets"-- vanilla cupcake filled with Smores flavors and topped with vanilla buttercream frosting.
Tomorrow Night is the Night to enjoy some Sweet Jazz!
This event will showcase our vocal and instrumental jazz musicians. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a treat made by our Advanced Culinary Art students.
~ Tickets for this event are $5 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. We hope to see you on May 14, 2025, at 6:00 pm!
