As they progress, they dive deeper into cultural traditions, global perspectives, and real-world communication skills that extend far beyond the classroom. By the time they reach the advanced levels, they’re not just speaking another language, they’re gaining a broader view of the world. 🗺️ And the impact doesn’t stop at graduation. Many of our alumni have traveled the world, studied abroad, and used the knowledge they gained here to take their next big steps. Whether they’re working internationally, building new friendships, or simply navigating new experiences, the time spent here has been helping them every step of the way.

The Wisconsin Seal of Biliteracy Omro is proud to share it is now one of 23 districts (of the 460+ districts) in Wisconsin that gives students the opportunity to achieve this seal. 🎉 The Wisconsin Seal of Biliteracy (SBL) is awarded to graduating high school students in districts with a Department of Public Instruction-approved program, who have demonstrated advanced achievement in bilingualism, biliteracy, and sociocultural competence in two or more languages. As an extension of their learning during science instruction throughout the second quarter, grade 5 students created posters for the Wisconsin Rural Water Association’s Water Conservation Poster Contest! This year’s theme “Drip Drop Make It Stop” encouraged students to think about how water is wasted, whether it’s a leak or leaving the water running, what we can do to stop water waste and protect water for future generations. Each class was allotted 3 entries into the contest. Winners will be chosen by attendees at the Wisconsin Rural Water Association’s Annual Technical Conference March 25-28, and will be announced the first week of April. Congratulations to the following students whose posters were selected to be entered into the contest! - JJ, Chuck, Hayden, Deklan, Sofia, Aubrey, Amaya, Harper, Kennedy, Kenton, Annabella, and Ella -
