#FoxPride is on full display during Homecoming Week!
This year's theme is "Cities", with each high school class representing a city.
Seniors ~ Los Angeles
Juniors ~ Nashville
Sophomores ~ Honolulu
Freshmen ~ Boston
Throughout the week, high school students will have different activities, enabling them to represent the theme. Hallway decorating was a great opportunity for each class to demonstrate their creativity and collaboration!
Every school is celebrating Homecoming this week; families should check the building newsletters for information about dress up days and any additional celebrations the school is participating in.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:15 on the afternoon of Friday, October 10, 2025, following the map shared in this post. We would love to see you along the parade route!

We look forward to welcoming students back into our buildings on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Homecoming is Next Week (October 5 through October 11)
Throughout the week, buildings will be celebrating and acknowledging homecoming in a variety of days. While most activities are centered at the high school level, elementary and middle school students have opportunities to get involved, too! There are dress up days at all buildings (see the building newsletter for more information), opportunities to engage with OHS student athletes, attend the parade, etc. We are looking forward to seeing all of the #FoxPride throughout the week!

Great things are happening in the learning spaces in the School District of Omro. One example of our students thriving together comes from Ms. Schulz's fifth grade classroom. Recently, students developed dialogue between two people in various situations. Each group used a bit of comedy within their student designed dialogue, which brought joy, laughter, and smiles to the classroom during the presentations.
Great job, fifth graders!

On September 18, Network Photography will be on site for H.B. Patch and OES Picture Day. As a remidner, all students must get their photos taken, even if families are not ordering pictures.
Per guidelines from Network Photography, students may not wear any hat/hood/head covering/costume or alter their face in any way, shape or form (religious and cultural head coverings/medical exceptions are made).

During the ELA block, students have been exploring the current CKLA Unit: Personal Narratives! One of the many skills that has been a focus is learning how to include dialogue, while using correct punctuation, in writing to make it more detailed.
This week, students worked in groups to write a conversation between two characters while following the 5 rules of dialogue! They were so creative! :)

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, September 3, the Omro community was invited to attend a Ground Breaking Ceremony for the start of the referendum projects.
A huge THANK YOU to our school board, district leaders, community partners, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us . Additionally, a special thank you to Art Eichmann Photography for sharing images of this event.
Stay tuned as we turn this vision into reality — one shovel at a time!
