The move from elementary to middle school is an exciting time, and we’re here to make sure you’re ready to hit the ground running! We would love to see all of our 2026-2027 grade 6 students at 6th Grade Orientation in August. Mark your calendars now!

for parent drop-off beginning Wednesday, May 13, through the last day of school on Friday,
May 22. The drop off time has been adjusted to provide families additional time to navigate all
the potential detours due to the construction.
OES students may be dropped off at the OES main entrance and will report to the gym, where
they will be supervised by staff members.
Middle school and high school students should be dropped off in the middle school parking
lot. Middle school students will report to the OMS gym, and high school students will report to
the OHS cafeteria. All students will be supervised by staff members.
After discussions with Lamers, the Omro City Administrator, and the Police Department, we
have developed a plan to minimize major bus transportation disruptions. To reduce the time
students are spending on buses, the School District of Omro buses will be escorted by law
enforcement southbound over the HWY 21 bridge. There may still be minor delays to bus
pick-up and drop-off times.
Attention current grade 5 families:
OMS is hosting a Parent Orientation tonight (May 7) from 4:00-5:00. Current grade 5 students are welcome to attend with their families, but do not have to. We will cover topics such as schedules, extracurriculars, lunch/recess, and other frequently asked questions. In addition, families will have the chance to see the building and meet the staff.

🎒 6th Grade Parent/Family Orientation is Almost Here
Omro Middle School is looking forward to the Class of 2033 joining the middle school next year! An informational evening is being held on May 7, 2026, from 4:00-5:00 pm for parents/guardians of rising grade 6 students. Future sixth graders are welcome to attend, if they wish. 🚲 Big News for the Omro Bike Shoppe! 🌎
We are spinning with excitement! Our very own Omro Bike Shoppe is being featured in a PBIS Special highlighting the power of biking to lower our carbon footprint.
At the Bike Shop, our students aren’t just learning how to fix flats and grease chains— their work also helps us take a small step (or pedal!) toward a healthier planet.
A huge shoutout to the students and staff who keep the gears turning every day.
