Long-Range Facilities Planning

The purpose of a Long-Range Facilities Plan is to provide the District with a master plan for facilities that aligns the District’s current reality and strategic direction with the community’s desired future state of facilities. The plan will be driven by the following priorities:

  • Identify and address safety, security, and accessibility issues

  • Provide facilities that support student academic and extra-curricular achievement

  • Increase opportunities for community use

Before we can make facility decisions regarding the future, we must first understand the current physical state and capacities. In February 2023, the Board of Education selected partners to conduct an Existing Conditions Assessment and Educational Space/Capacity Analysis.

After the initial Facilities Study, the District will work with partners to provide options to address our facilities needs. An important part of this process is community input. Please continue to watch for opportunities to review progress and share thoughts on the future of our facilities.
