FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
For those seniors who plan to continue their education after high school, it is important that they apply for financial aid. To apply for financial aid, one needs to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA), preferably before the college’s priority deadline (as early as December 1 for UW Madison and January 1st for UW Oshkosh). The paper & online applications will be available on January 30, 2025, and are due February 28, 2025. The following paper applications can be found in the guidance office.

Scholarships for Post High School Students

Omro Area Scholarship and Education Foundation Scholarship
- Amount: $1,000.00
- Criteria:
  - For individuals who have graduated from Omro High School or reside in the School District of Omro
Strehlow Family Scholarship
- Amount: $1,000.00
- Criteria:
  - Applicants must have a minimum GPA of a 2.75
  - Applicants may be attending any college/university or technical college
  - Applicant must be community minded

Applications will be available January 30, 2025, and due February 28, 2025. These scholarships, linked here, are available to graduates from Omro High School or post high school students who reside in the School District of Omro.
