Community Support Groups

Community Support Groups serve an important and valuable role for the City of Omro and the School District of Omro. Although each support group will have various mission statements, objectives, and interests, all of them essentially are opportunities for people to gather, network, become united in efforts, and promote the welfare of children in the home, school, and community.

The School District of Omro and Community Support Groups are very unique in their relationship to one another. Both entities operate independently, in terms of organizational structure, goverance, goals, budgets, and other operations, and yet you will find them regularly cooperating, assisting, and supporting of each other. You can see the results of this separate, yet blended relationship in many of the events of social and spectator gatherings within the city and on school property throughout the year.
